Invitation to SMAC’s IAL Tournament

Hi guys,

We have been invited to this thing called ‘IAL’. For those of you who don’t know what that stands for, it means “International Army League (Small and Medium)”.

Anyway, I accepted SMAC’s invitation to IAL. This is the author’s description:

I have decided to create something called the IAL: The International Army League. It is a tournament where the top 20 armies will face off in regular season games, and the teams that are in the top 8 in their conference go to the playoffs. In the playoffs, the armies will be seeded according to their record. In these playoffs, it’s one game elimination; you lose one battle, you’re out. Then in the finals, the top 2 teams from each conference will play eachother in one final round for the championship. The trophy will be unique, so I want the graphics designers to be ready when I need them for the trophy designing. We will pick the top armies.

To be honest, I am quite surprised that they let us in even though we aren’t on any of SMAC’s top ten lists. But thank you SMAC for inviting us. If you want more information, go to SMAC.

Hopefully the tourney will start straight after the Green Glory ends! (After all, we did get knocked out pretty early.)
